GEJ @ 65, LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi, sends warm birthday message

As former president, Goodluck Jonathan turned 65, yesterday, Nov. 20, his family organized a private celebration for him. Jonathan's son-in-law Prince God'swill Edward shared photos from the celebration as he referred to the former Nigerian President as a "role model".

Similarly, the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has so many nice words for the celebrant:

"On behalf of my family and the whole OBIdient movement, I celebrate my very dear elder brother, His Excellency Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, as he marks his 65th birthday today. A man of peace, nobility and honour; @GEJonathan remains a great blessing to our nation.

A true leader, GEJ gave up his personal political ambition for the sake of national peace and progress. As a patriot, he remains committed to the unity and development of Nigeria. As a lover of mankind, his positive impacts on people, institutions and organizations are continually felt, not just in Nigeria, but on the global stage. I join his family, friends, well-wishers and millions of admirers around the world to celebrate him today. I pray God to continually bless him with abundant health of mind and body, protect him always and give him the grace to continue to make great positive impacts in society. Many happy returns to this day, Sir." - PO
