Court hears, adjourns suit seeking to stop Peter Obi’s Lagos rally

A law suit seeking to stop a planned rally by supporters of Peter Obi in Lagos state was heard today in a Federal Court in Lagos. The suit was adjourned till 23rd September, 2022.

The 8th President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Barr. Abdul Mahmud said the lawsuit is being heard by Justice Osiagor of the federal high court in Lagos, noting that Peter Obi, Labour Party and some influencers are defendants.

Mahmud tweets: "Suit to stop the planned Obidient rally in Lagos is being heard by Justice Osiagor, Fed High Court, Lagos. Obi, LP and some influencers are defendants. Plaintiffs' SAN moved his application but was asked by the Court to put the defendants on notice. Adjourned to 23-09-22"
