Speculations are rife that former President Goodluck Jonathan would today decide whether or not he would be in the contest for the the next occupant of Aso Rock villa.
Goodluck Jonathan has been under pressure to defect to the All Progressive Congress with a juicy offer of flying the party's presidential flag.
This pressure reached its crescendo last week when some Arewa youth stormed the Abuja residence of the former president in a goodwill protest urging him to run. Goodluck Jonathan himself told them they should "watch out" and that the "process" is still ongoing.
Today, that process would be clearly defined as the former president would be having another closed door meeting with party leaders of the APC which will decide how the pendulum swings.
